At Wise, we recognise the long-term environmental impact of producing once-in-a-lifetime events. We are committed to our mission of delivering lasting experiences that don’t have a lasting effect on the planet.
Our sustainability journey began in 2014 and has been at the forefront of our business agenda ever since. As a team, we recognise that now is the time to redouble our efforts and ensure we are not only meeting, but exceeding the government set target of London becoming net-zero by 2030.
Wise are proud to be a carbon neutral company. We know this is just the beginning, and we are dedicating to not only offsetting our carbon emissions but reducing our footprint from the outset.
Our 2023 Impact Report outlines our pledge to the planet and our steps towards operating at net-zero.
As of 2023, Wise are a carbon neutral company. We offset our operational carbon emissions in Scopes 1 and 2 annually via schemes selected by our Co-Owners.
We collaborate with Creative Zero to decarbonise our business, supporting us through annual carbon audits and educating our team via workshops.
Wise are partnered with B1G1: Business For Good to actively donate and support environmental initiatives across the globe.
We are signatories of the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge, holding ourselves accountable to our goals in collaboration with other event professionals.
When it comes to sustainability, Wise doesn’t believe in competition: the sharing of ideas and support of our industry peers and clients is something we celebrate!
Our vision to create a future we’re proud of relies on shared innovation, industry wide education, and harnessing the power of data to hold ourselves accountable.
We are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and operating at net-zero by 2030. This means:
We will continue our investment in internal education to become a carbon literate company. Our knowledge, successes, failures and lessons learned will be used to educate others and promote sustainable practices industry-wide.
We commit to leveraging data to hold ourselves accountable to our sustainability targets. Through iterative research and development, we will implement greener alternatives and explore new ways to improve our environmental impact.
Partnering with our supply chain, industry peers, and valued clients is key to our strategy. We will maintain ongoing sustainability dialogues with our partners to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across the industry.
“Our aim is to set a new standard in our sector, leveraging the energy and determination of our employee-ownership model to drive meaningful change and promote the possibilities of sustainable event production.”
