Our Managing Director George Foden took to the stage at The Meetings Show 2025 yesterday to share some thoughts on the ‘Creating One-of-a-Kind Experiences for the New Attendee’ panel hosted by Aleksandra Nowak, from HeadBox —and the key takeaway? It’s all about audience-first thinking.

The discussion brought together industry leaders including Luisa S. of Bosting Consulting Group, Catherine Chaulet of Global DMC Partners and Jimmy Garcia of Jimmy Garcia Catering.

“Events are created for people, by people.”

The panel explored the shift towards experience-led events in a post-pandemic world —where storytelling, sustainability, and immersion are central, not secondary. From destination choices to interactive catering, today’s attendees are looking for more than just “another event”—they want moments that matter.

Representing Wise, George shared thoughts on the creative potential of event production and how balancing creativity with sustainability doesn’t mean compromise—it means opportunity!

• “Don’t hide the space—embrace it.” Being creative in the way we utilise the resources we already have and using what’s already there can create more meaningful, authentic environments.

• And when it comes to tech? It’s not just about wow moments, but creating something audiences can take away—visually, emotionally, or even just in a 10-second video that leaves a lasting impact.

We were reminded that at the heart of it all, partnerships and collaboration between stakeholders remain essential—and it’s through these relationships that we unlock the potential to create events that are truly authentic, meaningful, and memorable.
