To celebrate this year’s International Museum Day, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the epic museums we have the pleasure of working in, and their fabulous events teams who make the collaborating experience enjoyable and exciting, both for us and for their valued clients.
Wise has been accredited at the Natural History Museum for over two decades, and last year alone we created 28 spectacular events together! Whilst we’re partial to a party in Earth Hall, the undeniable ‘wow factor’ of Hintze Hall truly never gets old. To ensure our operations always stay sympathetic to Hintze’s intricate architecture, Wise designed and constructed a custom rigging solution, affectionally known as ‘Daleks’ within our team. Our Daleks accompany us to every NHM event, providing exquisite lighting design, whilst importantly safeguarding the venue’s heritage!
Our valued partnership with the distinguished National Gallery has so far spanned 9 years. This year, as the gallery celebrates its 200th anniversary, we reflect on the privilege of producing countless events within the walls of one of London’s finest treasures. With over 2,300 artworks adorning its walls, the gallery stands as a testament to rich cultural heritage. From exclusive receptions to celebratory dinners, we never tire of creating masterpiece events amongst the masterpieces of Van Gogh and Da Vinci alike!
As another of our long-standing venue partners, Wise have been creating magic with the V&A team since 1999! With its extensive collection spanning art, design, and fashion, the V&A stands as a beacon of creativity and innovation. Last year, the museum drew crowds from across the country with the highly sought-after ‘Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto’ exhibition. We were delighted to contribute to the crafting of chic soirées inspired by the fashion icon for a variety of guests.
Wise’s partnership with the Science Museum marks our longest standing venue collaboration, dating back to 1993. While the museum continues to captivate visitors of all ages with its endless wells of curiosity and fascination, we take great care in curating inspirational events within its diverse themed galleries, in collaboration with their fantastic events team. The Science Museum’s unwavering dedication to innovation and education aligns seamlessly with Wise’s mission to ignite innovation within creative event production.
Having been a preferred supplier at the Wallace Collection for 17 years, we were thrilled to be reaccredited at this stunning venue last year! The Wallace Collection is a national museum housing an unparalleled array of masterpieces in painting, sculpture, furniture, arms and armour, and porcelain. It offers a range of versatile galleries and spaces perfect for celebrations and special events. The dedication to excellence and collaborative spirit of their fantastic events team makes every event a delight to produce together.
