As we celebrate 35 years, our commitment extends beyond unforgettable events to ensuring a sustainable future.
At Wise Productions, we believe in treating the planet Wisely, a principle that has been at the forefront of our business agenda for almost 10 years, with our sustainability journey beginning in 2014.

Sustainability At Wise

Since our transition to employee-ownership two years ago, we’ve witnessed a remarkable surge in our collective commitment to sustainability, aiming to set a new standard in sustainable event production. We are proud to have been carbon neutral since 2022 , proactively offsetting our operational carbon emissions annually by supporting projects like Jingyuan County’s 100 MW Solar Power Generation Project. 

Our concrete actions include: 

  • Eliminating Scope 2 Emissions: We achieved a complete elimination of our Scope 2 emissions by switching to 100% renewable electricity for our premises since 2017. 
  • Waste Management: We’ve operated as a ‘zero to landfill’ company since 2022 , prioritizing product life cycle solutions and increasing our commitment to reusable and recyclable materials. 
  • Reducing Event Impact: For our events, we’re reducing the weight of builds with lighter, reusable materials and employing a “design for disassembly” approach to minimize the need for new materials. We’re also integrating a carbon calculator for each event, including it in client proposals, to keep sustainability at the forefront. 
  • Sustainable Transport & Operations: We’re actively exploring alternative fuels like Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) for our fleet and encouraging hybrid working and cycling initiatives among our Co-Owners. 
  • Dedicated Green Team: Our dedicated ‘Green Team’ comprises environmental champions across all departments, driving change and turning grassroots ideas into actionable realities. 

We are committed to continuous improvement and are aligning our targets with London’s ambitious net-zero by 2030 mission. We believe that curating a future we’re proud of relies heavily on shared innovation and industry-wide education, empowering others to embrace more sustainable principles.
